Inspiration
Deeply imbued with the tastes and character of both Paris and New York, the house, as well as each one of its scents, found their inspiration in these two cities. Both the City of Lights and the Big Apple are the unquestionable muses of the brand.
Scent
There's a well-known Caribbean spice, pimento, that has the endearing name of "allspice" in English. This curious name appeared when the spice was originally brought to England and everyone had trouble describing it as it had notes of clove, pepper, cinnamon and nutmeg, all wrapped together! Spices have had an important role in the history of mankind, so Wilgermain and perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux were keen to add a very spicy fragrance to their repertoire. Inconfessable explores the allspice concept, using a myriad of different spices that would deliver a totally new spice aroma and a special quality of Nepalese pepper brings that extra punch they were looking for.
Top notes of Madagascan black pepper essence, Timur pepper essence and red ginger essence from Laos give way to a heart of Sri Lankan cardamom essence, Croatian coriander seed essence and nutmeg essence from Moluccas. A dry-down of Singapore patchouli essence, Virginian cedarwood essence and Bubinga wood accord rounds out this unisex Woody-Spicy-Balsamic eau de parfum.
