Wilgermain is a luxury perfume house that was born from the encounter between a world renown perfumer, Rodrigo Flores-Roux and Francisco Gratacós, its founder and CEO, with the aim of satisfying many different lifestyles, from the most demanding fragrance aficionado to the individual buying a quality scent for the first time, as it offers a carefully edited collection of exceptional fragrances, conceived to cover a broad range of fragrant themes.

Inspiration

Deeply imbued with the tastes and character of both Paris and New York, the house, as well as each one of its scents, found their inspiration in these two cities. Both the City of Lights and the Big Apple are the unquestionable muses of the brand. Perfumer Rodrigo Flores-Roux is a lover of Caravaggio's paintings, works of art that stimulate your imagination with their dark and dramatic compositions. Standing in front of the artist's work, you may ask yourself if this painting was a perfume, how would it smell? More Is More is a scented portrait of what Flores-Roux had in mind when admiring a Caravaggio. An ominous chiaroscuro, light and darkness in an echo, two opposing strengths creating both a contrast and a harmony, feminine and masculine dancing with each other to the beat of a drum or the soft crackle of embers. It is the odour and the image of black paint dripping on a canvas but also of the faceted shine of a diamond parure worn over a black leather garment.

Scent

This perfume is a real tour de force that starts out with top notes of French clary sage essence, Indian davana essence and Chinese osmanthus absolute. A heart of Bulgarian rose water extract, Italian broom flower absolute and a black leather accord gives way to a dry-down of ambrette seed absolute from Martinique, vetiver essence and patchouli essence that rounds out this unisex Woody-Floral-Leathery eau de parfum.
