As lockdown restrictions ease we’re gonna fall in love with our wardrobes all over again. Need some inspo? Discover post-lockdown outfit ideas for every date in your diary…
Spring is officially here (YAY!) and we’re seriously excited about the possibility of meeting up with friends, swapping video calls for dinner reservations and, best of all, wearing some amazing new outfits. From the first picnic in the park to that big night out with the girls, re-emerge in style with our edit of post-lockdown looks.
29 March – picnic perfect
Who knew the humble picnic would be the highlight of our social calendars so far this year? From 29 March, groups of up to six people in England will be allowed to meet outdoors, so pack a blanket (and a bottle of fizz) and head to the park with your faves. This gingham maxi dress has ‘picnic’ written all over it and will have you looking like an absolute snack. More of a jeans kinda gal? Team blue denim with a cardi for a cute and casual vibe. Now all we need is good weather…
12 April – garden party
Get ready to pop the Prosecco because beer gardens are back. From 12 April, we’ve been told that bars and pubs can serve outside which means it’s time to put on a brand new outfit and let down your (freshly cut) hair. Nothing says ‘garden party‘ quite like a floral midi dress. This spring staple goes hand-in-hand with sunny afternoons spent sipping bubbles with friends – just add a pair of sandals to show off your pedi. Cheers!
17 May – table for six
These days, we don’t need an excuse to get dressed up, but brunch with our besties is a good place to start. From 17 May, we should be allowed to dine indoors with five friends, and we’ve got all the ingredients for a great outfit. Opt for a ‘jeans and a nice top’ vibe with a polka dot blouse and faded denim, or go more dressy with a midi dress and heels. Table for six please!
21 June – going out-out
It’s the moment our wardrobe’s been waiting for! From 21 June, all lockdown restrictions should be lifted. It may seem like aaaages away but planning the perfect outfit for our post-lockdown glow-up takes time. There’s no doubt that the first night out with the whole gang is going to BIG, so go all out with a leg-baring mini dress, killer heels and more accessories than you can shake a selfie stick at. See ya sweatpants!
By the way, dates are correct at time of writing for England, but do keep an eye on the latest government updates and detailed lockdown restrictions before you go all out.
