More time at home means keeping things cosy is top priority. So, if you’re on the lookout for comfy plus-size outfits the DP Curve collection has it covered.
We’re ALL about staying warm and cosy right now. We can’t be sure what our spirit animal is but it’s definitely hibernating. So, from luxurious loungewear to see you through lockdown 3.0 to that super-snuggly coat for winter walks, we’ve picked out a few of our fave plus-size pieces worthy of putting on rotation. They’re all part of our DP Curve collection, available in sizes 18-28.
The jumper dress
The perfect combo of style and comfort. We LOVE a dress, but while the weather forecast is frosty a knitted jumper dress earns extra cosy points. Great with tights and slippers now, simply switch in trainers and a biker jacket and you’ve got a stylish off-duty outfit for spring.
The cosy coat
If you’ve been embracing those daily winter walks, this quilted coat is your cold-weather hero. Featuring a snuggly faux-fur lined hood and lightweight padded design, we also love the super-flattering belted waist for an instant hourglass silhouette. Throw on with chunky soled boots (a huge trend this season) to brave the elements in style.
The loungewear set
Our new-found obsession with loungewear shows no sign of slowing. If you’re loving it as much as us, then make sure you’ve got a luxurious knitted lounge set in your collection. This cosy grey roll neck jumper and joggers co-ord is perfect if you’re working your way through those box sets and spending some quality time with your sofa. Anyone for Bridgerton… again?
The midi dress with sleeves
There’s no need to stop wearing your fave dresses in your pursuit of comfort. A floral midi lends itself perfectly to layering – simply add a black roll neck underneath or a fluffy cardigan belted over the top to stay toasty. We love a dress with sleeves (almost as much as a dress with pockets), and we’ll be wearing ours all year round.
The cute slogan tee
Introducing the ideal update for the joggers you’ve been wearing on repeat. Or, when lockdown’s lifted, style your tee with a belted trench coat and slim-leg jeans for effortless, French-girl style. We also love a slogan tee paired with swishy midi skirts and ankle boots. We’re talking endless outfit possibilities.
The slouchy cardigan
This is our working-from-home must-have. If you’re trying to resist the urge to max out the heating every day, then we recommend getting yourself a super-soft slouchy knit like this. Great with a jersey midi dress or a knitted skirt and simple white tee. It’ll also double up as an alternative to a throw-on-and-go jacket when the weather warms up.
The floral print blouse
A printed blouse is perfect with skinny jeans, but also with the leggings we’ve been living in lately. We love the retro floral print and pop of uplifting colour. Let’s be honest, we could all do with a little style pick-me-up. And, when it comes to feelgood vibes, pretty new tops definitely get our vote.
The coated jeggings
We’re not exactly donning sequins all week long, but some days are worth getting dressed up for. Valentine’s Day is coming up, so if you’re lucky enough to be able to celebrate date night at home our Eden leather-look jeggings are a great choice. Lockdown birthdays also deserve a little sparkle if you ask us. Keep it comfy on the bottom half and go glam on top for zoom dates or dinner at Chez Living Room.
