Merchandising involves planning the season and trading the department to deliver profit. This function works closely with Buying and Distribution to achieve results and problem solve business issues. Merchandisers concentrate on effectively managing the supply chain and maximising sales potential for the brand whilst minimising risk. The focus is on planning a balanced range through analysing sales figures and product performance.
